Gardening - the life changing effects

Updated: Nov 23, 2022

When I started a small home vegetable garden it was just a few repurposed wooden raised beds in fact, and I wasn't quite sure where to start with it all. It was daunting actually.

So I started consuming online content on gardening and the amount I was learning was unbelievable!

Gardening almost immediately sparked a personal journey for a more regenerative, grounded life.

So far has been an exponential learning curve, unlocking a tucked away passion for nature, careful cultivation of more of our own produce and the ability to share this all with family and friends.

Quickly in the process of maintaining a healthy garden I learnt the following: Organic, regenerative, no dig, pesticide free (as far as you can reasonably avoid it), patience and companion planting.

This was followed by learning how to compost - and a thriving composting worm farm!

Gardening, its lifecycle and the products we enjoy from it has become my personal mission for conservation. Even at our small scale.
